Every death is final. Every grave makes the next life possible.

Deathright is a dark-fantasy 2D action RPG about a family facing a dying realm. Choose an heir and a calling, leave Candlewick, and fight your way through Hollowmere. When a life ends, their story enters the Book of the Dead. What they leave behind becomes Legacy for the next heir.

In development: a Windows demo centered on Hollowmere and the Bellkeeper is being prepared. There is no playable download on this page yet. The screenshots and animations show development captures; some encounters were staged to make the mechanics clear.

A family of heirs

• Choose an heir with their own traits, then begin as a Warrior, Archer, Mage, or Rogue.
• Shape each life with rites and omens as you push farther from home.
• Record the fallen in the Book of the Dead. Graves, heirlooms, and Legacy carry their story forward.

The road through Hollowmere

• Explore Candlewick and the surrounding roads, meadows, cemetery, and crypts on the way to the Bellkeeper.
• Fight in real time with deliberate attacks, dodges, and readable enemy tells.
• Play solo or join friends in 1–4 player host/join co-op as development continues.

When a life ends

A fallen heir leaves more than an empty slot. Their grave and Book entry remain, while the next generation inherits the consequences of their journey. In cursed places, the dead can become a danger of their own.

Demo status

The planned first demo ends after the Bellkeeper. The build is being validated and will be posted here when it is ready.
